I travelled to and from Paragon for both the Bristol C & Norwich games. I bus x46 leaves paragon at 17.50, so it is an easy walk via the walkway straight to St Stephens which is next to paragon. It gets into York 19.47 at the Train station.

No direct trains from Wessie Land on Sunday either for some reason so going to have to go via York. Could go via Donny but risk getting on a train full of Blunts which I don't really want. Getting the first train at 8.15, which is ridiculous in itself, but not looking forward to the trip home either as it's going to be manic. Hope we win to make it worthwhile.

Still at least they're not on strike I suppose

That's my concern too.I could go Doncaster but the train to there will be absolutely rammed. If push comes to shove I'll just get the train at 17.35 to York and take my chances.

Nowhere near but close enough for the owner to mention it multiple times to a local reporter E22E80A9-73B2-4A69-8FFD-9EAC08C30520.jpeg

What he really means is he'll have to get permission from the hand that feeds him to do a feature on it...

Have you thought about leaving the game 5 minutes early to make sure you’re ahead of the crowd and on time?

We'll undoubtedly be close to the £13m loss in a year. The wage rise will take care of that.

13m loss in a year would merely mean we can't do that three years running, not that we're close this year. If that's what Acun means is 'close' then fair enough, I'd still be reasonably surprised with the increased matchday revenue, increased sponsorships, and KLP sale we're still going to run at a 13m loss, but I guess we'll have to wait for the accounts.

I must admit though, I do believe I suggested any deals after Pelkas and Woods (who at the time was unnamed) would be loans.. And it looks like Pelkas is a loan too.

It must do, because it sounds like they're pushing the signings into next year by making them loans with options.

The wages will be substantially higher, plus there's the transfer fees, agents fees and signing on fees. I'd imagine that Tufan, Seri and Oscar would cost around £3.5m-£4m in wages alone

There's been further murmurs of redistribution of PL money, along with the increased sponsorship/commercial revenue I'm sure they will have plans to substantially increase revenue

You suggested they'd be cheap signings. We've yet to make a cheap signing yet

I'm really not overly interested in getting into another back and forth on hypotheticals when everyone's just guessing how much those players cost. As a FACT, we sold KLP for 16m and can amortise the transfer fees of our incomings over the lengths of their deals, meaning the only cost we're incurring this year is a fraction of their fee + a year of their wages. If that fraction + wages + agent fees is over 29m (before even considering increased income from matchday and commercial deals) I'd be very surprised but again, we'll see when we see the accounts.
