I wouldn’t listen to a single post by some of the prats on here, two come to mind that really boil my bacon this being one of them…
Got to factor in this person potentially being a fringe/squad player though edit- although with the severity of Ally’s injury that could play a factor too
But we've gone for Halil and Nwakaeme for this position previously, so it certainly doesn't appear to be a budget option.
It was by Tan, not Shota btw. I still wouldn't be surprised to see him through the door by Thursday. I reckon he'll start pushing for a move as he isn't going to play.
He's pretty good, quite quick, good finisher. I didn't realise he'd ended up in Turkey, but on a free transfer he'll add quality in depth.
Yeah that account is just a Turk who’s following us pretty strongly week in week out. He gets into some pretty heated debates about us too so he’s as serious as anyone about us
Reason I don't think it's him as he doesn't seem like a winger, his assist record is poor and we need someone who can put balls in the box for Oscar
From what I can see, he was played as a striker by Istanbul BK so (if he is coming), he's probably coming in as cover for Oscar as opposed to Allahyar.
Is 29 what someone would call a good age anyway? I usually call that 27 and below. Think it’s just an account trying to put a name out there. I think it’ll be a domestic target
This is a constant niggle for me, because age doesn't matter if you have talent. To me there's no such thing as a "good age", it's down to ability. A 29 year old on a free transfer can be just as effective as a 25 year old who cost £3m. I know people like to imagine about future fees etc, but that's not money we have now and in a squad that is still rather lacking in experience, a 29 year old who has played for Norway could be a decent signing.
Oh 100% I don’t doubt that at all. It’s more so that “good age” has different meanings to people. I think 29 is a good age, it’s just whether Baz who used that term also does
