Reid's record is unreal to be fair with decent chuck of games in premier League also which has huge influence on the percentage stat
Went for three times wages apparently. Be funny if the cùnts go down. He could of made a name for himself here as it was working out well. Might not go the same way at Stoke.
If we're not prepared to pay the wages we won't get. Or if we do get one good one by chance after swapping and changing like we have. Some other club will poach him just like Stoke have . Fùcking stoke FFS .
Once they treble his wages and hand him a long contract he's struck gold. Bruce has made a fat living out of being sacked ... ... it's easier and quicker than actually working. Neil won't win anything at Stoke and doesn't care about the club or the fans ... ... it's all about cash. Don't tell me Stoke are guaranteed to sign better players or allow Neil a free hand. They'll never be a big club and Neil will never manage one bigger than Sunderland.
Bruce and quite a few others. Me dad used to say it's the only job you can be shìt at, get sacked and get another job straight away. He was wrong, politicians too And yeah, like I said he could fail miserably at Stoke. He was doing well here but it wasn't all about him. Fùck him. My only concern now is us replacing him with as good or better and we crack on.
as we are being expected to believe that AN was contacted and made the decision to move jobs within 2 days, i can now only hope that SAFC move just as fast or make an issue out of the fact that stoke must have made an 'illegal approach' for AN well before they asked permission, regardless of the contract there are certain protocols to be followed. if the club once again end up taking two weeks or longer then KLD really needs to take a look at his staff as player and manager lists should be a regular happening and updated monthly so no time is wasted during windows or if a manager/coach leaves or is sacked.
It really does sound like Speakman and Neil fell out big time. Which firstly makes me want rid of Speakman, as this seems to happen a lot But secondly gives me hope that he expected it more than the fans did
We need to forget Neil. He has gone because he didnt like his job, after 6 months. The fact Michu is in the crowd today shows Alex Neil was just a cog in a wheel. A good one who did a bloody good job, but he wants to be a bigger cog. We dont need to bend for him. The next coach will have to fit into the structure, hopefully they have a bit more commitment and staying power.
The blame game starts. Of course it is about his wages... so he may just be a greedy bastard, with no loyalty to the club. But... I still think we are trying to run a breakeven financial outcome, without putting in the necessary investment in first. So AN wanted Broadhead, he has gone to a rival for more money, Stewart has not signed a contract yet, presumably due to money. Its pretty much agreed with all and sundry that 4 experienced players are needed urgently to come into the squad. Its looking as if that is not happening (?) Lack of funds again. So if Neil and Speakman are at loggerheads and, if Neil reckons the financial straight-jacket is stopping him taking the club on further. Any other club that offers Neil a pay increase and a pot of cash to bring players in will be attractive. This is also going to put off good coaches/ mangers wanting to come to Sunderland. You end up with deadbeats like Mowbray or Dyche who will take any job going, no matter the strictures.
