Blame Speakman all you like mate but if Neil takes the Stoke job it's because Neil wants to take the Stoke job, that's what counts at the end of the day (even if it's a mental decision)
Gab Sutton pointing out on twitter that the club has continued to invest in young players and Neil has a history of wanting to work with older experienced players...
If he goes, thank you wholeheartedly for what you've done sir. The position we're in now is immeasurably better. Bit **** timing like ya dick , especially with transfers, but not his fault. I still hope he agrees terms with Stoke, gets it in writing, then we can agree to match it
**** him. Showing his lack of ambition. We'll keep on improving. Look at how far our reach around the world is now. Our next manager will be better, again. There's clearly been a lot going on behind the scenes that we have never been aware of. You don't leave Sunderland for Stoke for footballing reasons.
I never usually wish ill on people but I really hope Stoke sack him by the end of the season as he has to go and find a league one club to manage
If AN dropped down dead in the AOL car park this afternoon then we'd have to look for another manager. Don't really see much difference if he has gone, we move on and replace him...simples. I'm too old in the tooth to let all this upset me and call for heads to roll. It's football and sh1t like this happens especially to our club.
