Should’ve been offered a new amended deal as soon as we won at Wembley then. I’m guessing he wasn’t as there was no news about it
And if he was on a longer contract we could refuse them permission. Everyone is quick to blame the club without knowing 100% what everyone felt about the rolling contract.
How do you not know Neil wanted that contract mate? Club might have wanted to give him a full time contract and he wanted rolling one.
I do get a feeling that AN has been happy with the rolling contract, if has gone it proves he has been waiting to move since he got hereso the rolling contract was for his benefit for this situation not the clubs!. As it has been done in a couple of hours.
100% this!! Hate how its all speakmans fault but its neil thats away to speak to stoke. Cant stop him if he wants to speak to them. Def staying off here until this is done as negativity is creeping in
Here we ******** go again. That was super quick. And am even thinking this was a done deal before Stoke sacked their manager
That’s the spirit. Nobody knows anything. If another club comes knocking he’s going to see what they can offer. Then he’s going to see if we can do better. He’ll maybe go or maybe stay. if he goes there are managers out there just as good who’ll do a job. We really ain’t the basket case we were three or four years ago. Having said that, I hope he’s here for another year or two.
Absolutely **** timing. New manager comes in and does t rate the players we’ve got and the whole merry go round begins again. Like ****ing Groundhog Day. FFS when will Sunderland learn?
We have decent squad, we have the best facilities in this league, we should be able to attract (and keep) a manager of note. At least I hope so
I do think be has gone, this is the type of thing the press who have been hanging around waiting for the pc to start are going to get to know. Not the same as the transfer news they don't get. Went from two signings lined up to the manager gone in a few hours. **** day this like!
