How do you not know Neil wanted that contract mate? Club might have wanted to give him a full time contract and he wanted rolling one.
I do get a feeling that AN has been happy with the rolling contract, if has gone it proves he has been waiting to move since he got hereso the rolling contract was for his benefit for this situation not the clubs!. As it has been done in a couple of hours.

That’s the spirit. Nobody knows anything. If another club comes knocking he’s going to see what they can offer. Then he’s going to see if we can do better. He’ll maybe go or maybe stay. if he goes there are managers out there just as good who’ll do a job. We really ain’t the basket case we were three or four years ago. We have decent squad, we have the best facilities in this league, we should be able to attract (and keep) a manager of note. At least I hope so
