Howe slowly building his own team, and Pope seems like much more of the kind of keeper that he wants rather than Dubravka.
As well as being younger and able to grow with the team for longer, Pope has looked like a significant upgrade on Dubravka thus far. Dubravka ain't gonna be happy as no 2, so I assume he'll want a move.

Will give Dubs first team football I guess, but a crappy move from a team on the up to one on a huge downer.

£20m for Dubs plus the £9m they owe which means Maddison would only cost us £31m+,cheap at half the price.

We should loan him to them with similar terms - ie "pay Dubravka's wages plus a £10m additional payment if you stay up"

You’re right, he isn’t an out and out striker, I think there’s a touch of the Henry’s about him, very similar at the same age. Let’s just hope Isak goes the same way as Henry.

If there was any doubt whatsoever, whether Isak 'works' or not, this is massive.
Interesting stats that we are ahead of schedule. We're 5th in terms of PPG this year, and if we keep it going have effectively broken the top6. I wonder if the unbeaten start has accelerated the plans, where the owners have just thought "let's go for it now, Man U/Chelsea (4th spot) are there for the taking."
