That’s two red cards he’s gotten away with this season if you also count the tackle on the Coventry player.

Needs to work on his tackling and calm down.

Players who are a little out of their comfort zone skill wise tend to make it up with effort and aggression. That's what's happening here.
I'm sure Alex Neil and the coaches will be working hard with him on things like positional play, etc.to try to help him.

Poor defending lack lustre/slow transfers (yet again) for a club with our support what else do you expect I worry if or when that first home win will come, apart from Ellis where are the signings Stoke have made about 12.
Don't worry - be happy:1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0142-happy

Onien hasn’t looked out of his comfort zone at all last 2 games though.

Agree,but I've said before on here,he's much better the deeper he plays as most of the game is in front of him. The point I was trying to make,I suppose,is that if he feels he's up against a more skilful opponent,he feels he needs to be aggressive.

yeh but can’t control that. The reffing is what the reffing is. We should have finished with 9 men so Sheff Utd could have equal complaints. As would Coventry. And Jose :D

Could have been 8 men had the referee blew his whistle for Batth in the first half when he clipped that player's legs when he was through.

I think O’Nien’s lack of top end speed leads to some of the lunges as well. He is diving in before the player gets away from him.

No way. You missed the Kevin Phillips and Quinny days?

I thought supporting Sunderland was proper ****e until that point. We had a great few years and now I feel that I've gone full circle :emoticon-0102-bigsm
When we were relegated and started in the Championship in our new stadium I thought at least it will be easy getting a ticket as I was at university. How wrong I was as the Quinn Phillips pair caused sellouts every game.

Mind you it’s very frustrating that we haven’t heard anything yet considering how light we are, I know club will be working hard but I am getting worried now
