I haven't been to Bradford for decades, anyone know if there's any decent parking near the ground?

The name Bradford means “village by a ford.” The first part of the name “Brad” meant broad. So, the name should really be “Village by a Broad Ford.” The name referred to a crossing of the Bradford Beck at Church Bank, which is just below the Bradford Cathedral.

Bradford City is the only League club in England to wear claret and amber, and nobody knows why. The first game in claret and amber was against Hull on 20th September 1884 at Carlisle Road.
....
They were playing rugby at that point according to his post, so I'm guessing it was the black and white lot.good stuff. should point out that if bradford first wore their current colours against hull in 1884, that would have been hull town.
like most on here, some of my ancestors were from bradford, along with a load of other places between here and wigan (arrghhhh!) and even scotland.
I asked a customer who's a Bradford fan this today and he said not really and be very careful where you do leave it as lots get broken into whilst the games on apparently

That's encouraging.![]()

Linton Brown masterclass.
Go on Linton!
Well given what Shota said in the HDM seems he is likely to keep much the same team as Saturday. Interesting to note that he also said that he would rather have the team playing games than training. Which is different to all the bleating in the press by many managers/coaches about playing too many games. Something I have never understood given that training can be more exhausting than a game and given that the players are twenty something years old and are at peak fitness. Refreshing to hear Shota say that.

You’ll need to come up with a better reason than just losing an article’!Tried to do a fact check on what I said in this post blow me can’t find the article anywhere in the HDM ???
That was a class day and taken from the only decent two seasons of the decade (two and a half seasons I suppose with the last part of TGE year)
Top of the table clash and Windass gets sent off after 10 mins - told Jeff Winter to '**** off ref' from what I recall.
Most the home fans park around the Kings Road/Queens Road crossroads near B&M. Be about a 15-20 minute walk from there, depending whereabouts you get parked. There's Poplars Park Road if you want something more tucked out the way but will add to your walking time.

I've a feeling the under 23's are playing tonight at the MKM...Please correct me if I'm wrong!I would play the u23 squad
