Ally was really impressive at wing back today, out of position a bit but has the work rate and physicality to play there. I'd love to see him and Sinik as the wing backs and just win every game 6-5
I wasn’t convinced with Ally in that position. His strength got him out of difficult situations there, but we looked much more balanced when Elder came on.
We have had a few players from Arsenal over the years who have done well for us. Notably one who died this week who did a very good job for us. I hope you clapped inn appreciation?
I think it's ok to not want a player associated so closely with one of our most frustrating defeats, but the club probably won't be dictated by that so meh. I also don't think he's coming.
“Your hitting your head against a brick wall with this one” and “everyone is entitled to their opinion” I’m not sure if them two statements contradict each other

Or it’s better to dwell on a goal he scored 8 years ago. *im not convinced he’s coming, I just heard a couple of people discussing it at the game*
There seems to be a fierce argument about whether we should sign Aaron Ramsey if available, but based on the wrong one. Isn't the one we might be chasing the young Villa player, not the perma-crocked ex-Arsenal one?

Hope that's the case, he's meant to be brilliant. No chance of getting him on a permanent though and I thought we were chasing a 10 as a permanent.
Yes you are right it is ok. In my view it isn't a real reason not to let a player join us who would improve our squad.
Wait, you wouldn’t sign him because he scored a goal against us? If we had that transfer policy, there would have been no Fryatt, Boyd or Irvine. Despite being as healthy as Nepal’s chances of winning the World Cup, he’s still going to be a class above anything we have. That being said, if he was gonna go anywhere, in the Championship, it’s be Cardiff.
Can we sign a couple of full backs now please. Don’t play strikers at wing backs. Just buy two. We won’t be anywhere near the play offs without signing two.
I think there's a bit of a difference in nature of goals scored. It's like being surprised if Bristol City didn't want to sign Deano after 2008 or Sheff Weds not wanting to sign Diame. Don't think that attitude would be that uncommon.
Exactly, it was The Cup Final, in extra time. Also, and this is, again, my personal opinion, I ****ing hate Arsenal with a passion. As I mentioned in the How did you come to support City thread, the rest of my family are firstly Spurs fans, and my brother, RIP, even had a Spurs crest floral reef on his coffin at his funeral. So yes I hate Arsenal and the older ex Arsenal Aaron Ramsey can **** right off. Terry Neill was a completely different era, and was player manager when I was first taken to see City as a little nipper by my above mentioned brother. Nothing but respect for Terry. Now let’s please bring this one to a close, thanks.
