Medium speed and twisty turns should suit McLaren well this weekend so with some nicely timed rain and good fortune, I think Lando might go well so I’m hoping for an improved showing

Ferrari heavy favs but could be a strange weekend with weather.

Think Mercedes will be okay here too

ferrari by 0.3seconds in quali.

Serious tyre deg issues in race but ferrari traction should have them going well away from the field before it kicks in.

sainz is the critical man, he must get in front of verstappen in quali.

I wonder when Merc will realise that the design philosophy for this years car is carp, and all the money they’re spending on upgrades is really making no difference what so ever

They have done so something to stabilise the car or the tracks suit it currently.

But I am still wondering what's going on with light fuel loads but not on heavy loads,. Why the car is pig slow on the straights and in the corners.

Is it drag, engine, suspension, just all round crap?

The speed trap at the French gp was dominated by redbull and haas. But on the finish line Hamilton was more competitive, whatever that means.

The fact that norris could go close in a mclaren just says it's more than engine alone. The merc chassis and package is a pig
