I wonder who this PL no.10 is. I'm surprised it's not in the public domain yet, but Acun's in town so he'll probably say something today
So people who may have particular motivations to dismiss stories? hardly conclusive that it was wrong. Their excellent track record lends a benefit of the doubt.
A 21 year old CB who has just played every minute in the Championship and been part of one of the most miserly defences? I'd say 7m is unders for that.
Each to their own, but this is about as strong a rebuttal as you get... “That is simply made up,” Duxbury told the Watford Observer when asked about the links to Greaves. "I find it really annoying having to explain a situation about a player that we’ve never even enquired about. That player [Jacob Greaves] wasn’t even on our radar. Rob [Edwards] chose the player he wanted to sign, we went and started work on that. "It’s Rob's choice, and I’m certainly not going to suggest he should sign someone else just because it means we have to pay a big fee for a player to show we’re willing to spend. That would be madness. "Rob narrowed his search down to two players, both homegrown, left-sided defenders. He then selected the one he wanted, and we are working on that deal. "The player you mentioned didn’t come into our considerations. I wouldn’t know what fee is being asked for him because I never made any enquiries about him."
His point makes sense to be fair but if he sign a new deal and performs as good as last season (likely better) we can demand £20m minimum, that’s the going rate for good championship centre backs especially left footed ones
Fair enough, just funny we've got people in here either rubbishing the link and by nature rubbishing the valuation of Greaves, and others saying 7m is potentially overs for him. I do hope the story is false as I think 7m is far less than he's worth.
These sponsorships/partnerships are really good and hopefully open a lot more revenue streams and other opportunities for the club to become quite sustainable. Really good to see.
Clinichub had their advertising on the pitchside advertising boards for the Leicester match, they will be wanting to attract more British people to travel to Turkiye to get treatments to avoid the long and increasing NHS backlogs. Looks to be a pretty lucrative opportunity for them.
Is that Clinic Hub or a lifestyle change institute for those sporting an alternative body image - Clini Chub?
Just seen this in Baz's twitter · "Jul 28 Any news on Emmanuel can’t seem to get any clarification? @bazdjcooper Replying to @dousey87 and @PhilMoo82431274 Would love to, but we’ve all got to be patient until he (and his people) decide to give an update. Suffice to say, he won’t be involved for a while unfortunately." 10:30 AM · Jul 28, 2022·Twitter for iPhone Not good news, definitely need another right back for cover at least
Sounds like it is a continuing issue which hopefully means we're getting cover in soon. Patterson would be great if it's him.
