It is concerning....but quite replaceable. Hardly Curtis Davies or anything. Average championship defender. Anyone who thinks he is more is a simp.

Yeah, but replaced by who? I have zero problem with the club signing foreign talent but I don’t want to see the spine of the team ripped out and replaced with unproven players who may not even speak English competently.

Losing KLP was inevitable, losing Honeyman was avoidable and if we lost Greaves on top of that, I’d be quite concerned with our recruitment strategy.

He’s been really off in pre season I’ve found. He’s still got 2 years yet we’ll see how he fairs without 2 defensive midfielders in front of him!

Replaceable. Obviously would rather he develop under us and become a superstar...today, he is a promising defender, nothing more. Fig is our main man now.

I do agree...albeit somewhat. He has promise, but not enough to be held to ransom. Completely agree o the point we need to upgrade with championship (or higher) experience.

Yeah, I like Acun and Kesler and their ambition for the club, and I’ve been impressed by signings like Seri, Figueiredo and getting Allahyar permanently. However, signings like Sinik and Tufan seem a bit ‘off’. Not necessarily dodgy but it feels a bit like Acun’s playing Football Manager and wants to sign Turkish internationals to raise the club’s profile, regardless of how the players fit in the squad. Even Shota suggested Acun gets carried away a bit in that interview tonight, especially on the recruitment side.

Tufan yes. Sinik has current national team pedigree and is rated by Turkish fans, Tufan is a meme. Tufan is your typical, “we’ll be the ones to get the best out of him” signing. He’ll always get a contract somewhere based on what he can be if he sorts himself out. Ravel Morrison esque

The Tufan signing really feels like Acun throwing him a lifeline for his career as a favour. I want the lad to do well but I have serious reservations about his fitness and his reputation precedes him. It’s hard not to take notice when Watford fans said he stood out as **** in a **** Watford side and Fenerbahçe fans calling him a fat, lazy slob.

He's had one poor season.
