I really hope we become a threat from set pieces this season, they should definitely help!

Both seem a threat in the air. Seri has also demonstrated his excellent crossing ability. I think it’s guaranteed :emoticon-0103-cool::emoticon-0103-cool:

I think the most important signing is a good old British captain fantastic type central midfielder. The type who will consecutively be a 7/10 every single week, cover every blade of grass, get stuck in and carry the team and stick their head above the parapet when the rest of them are struggling.

It will be a long season without that sort of player.

Yes they do, they give the other players who are better at creating more freedom or at the very least less pressure to defend and able to put more energy into attacking.

It does. If we had a proper ball-winning midfielder, it would allow Seri to be more creative instead of doing two jobs at once.

Alex Bruce was a pile’o’****e in midfield. He earned his place in our defence though.

I still scratching my head about Honeyman just can’t see how he was not only allowed to leave but evidently made to feel as if he wasn’t an important part of the squad. I think as things played out he would have been regardless so it’s probably disappointing he has the attitude to just leave.

It gives the creatives a platform to work from, unlike a back 5.
