Really? I think he's really been fcuked around for too long and don't begrudge him a penny. A massively underrated player IMO..but I am on the wine lol
I think this makes a lot of sense for Forest but it’s horribly money motivated by Lingard considering he had a 150k a week offer from West Ham.
I think he's massively overrated and I'd happily be ****ed around for the £120k a week he's been getting at man utd. If he thought anything about his career then he would have taken the west ham offer. But he's just gone for £££
True, but good players’ careers don’t just stagnate for no reason. He was stupid not to leave Man Utd last summer under Solskjær, he wasn’t allowed to leave under Rangnick in January and now he’s moved purely for money rather than go back to West Ham, where he fit in well, played some of his best football and was well-liked by the fans. He’s on a one-year contract at Forest and if they go down, I doubt West Ham will be arsed to sign him again. He’s ****ed West Ham about just as much as Man Utd ****ed him about.
I think it's a pretty good deal for Forest. He'll cost them just under £10m for the season, if he keeps them up it's worth it, but if he doesn't he's gone. He was a £30m player not so long back who would've still wanted £100k in wages. So I think it's a solid gamble.
You have to have numbers pushing forward to give the player on the ball options. We don't get sufficient bodies forward.
Dunno if the formation vs Leicester was down to availability or not. Suspect we'll play 3 up top with Sinik being on the left.
Would you move location for £200 per week or over £10 million per year ? You can't blame the player ...
Many many moves are obviously money motivated. I don’t have any opinion of him really but certainly hope Forest fail miserably so I’ll be happy if he does to help that
