Gonna have a punt on him to be first to go. Good outside bet imo.

I was thinking earlier when speaking to Fosse, he'd be the first to go, but didn't say anything as I didn't want to get into a long drawn out debate over it. I'm like thinking he'll need to get off to a good start (don't know their opening fixtures), but if they get off to a bad start the boss man at the top might pull the trigger.

Although I did say last season, Derby would avoid the drop, but got that one wrong, so let's see if I get this one wrong as well.

Brentford at home first up ... but we do have United, Chelsea and Goons early doors as I recall ...

So just a personal opinion, he will be expected to get something from Brentford, Southampton and Brighton, if not then he needs to pick up points from the other 3 fixtures - failing on both those fronts or being in the bottom three after all six games, would see him walk.

... sounds tough ... but we have not lost to United in the last 4 competitive games and only a dodgy VAR at theirs last season robbed Maddison of what would have been a winner and a straight 4 wins on the bounce against them ... plus we tend to hold our own against Chelsea ...

As I said earlier... we have a very good squad and these players haven't turned crap overnight ...

Don't misunderstand me ... I'm not the biggest Rodgers fan and find some of his interviews and sound bites cringeworthy ... on the positive side he does give youth a chance, which I'm all in favour of ... but he is also capable of dropping a complete bollock on that front ... as this one painfully proves ...

... he gets a little slack from me for being the first manager to bring home what has always been the Holy Grail to many Leicester fans (particularly the old codgers like me) ... the FA Cup <cheers>
