Well Ten Hag could have ingratiated himself with United fans straight away by appointing a better captain, ie literally anyone else.
De Gea, Ronaldo, Varane.
Big misstep imo, to keep an unpopular, underperforming player whom a lot of fans have turned on as captain.

Couldn't agree more, take some heat off the clown and as you say please most of the fans at the same time.

So things are looking good.

I actually agree with this, it was the first thing he should have done, remove the captaincy but didn't have the balls to do it. I don't remember Fergie taking any prisoners in his time, the difference between winners and losers.

Steve Bruce and Eddie Howe have done the exact same with Lascelles at our club.

Of course that fat waster Rafa was the one who made him captain.

Man is one of the worst CBs in the league and yet they refuse to remove him as captain.

Pogba just overhyped ... skilful footballer without question... but a stroll around luxury type ... need players like Kante around him to compensate for his fitness / energy shortcomings ... and United just didn't have the personnel to fully compensate for that ...
