    From what I heard months ago he has already turned down offers from a number of clubs including Newcastle. His parents want him to stay here as there is a clear pathway to first team football and an academy that will look after him properly and let him develop.     I'd say hitting the bar in the heat of the moment and having a good 2 or 3 seconds to pick his spot and ****ing it up completely are vastly different

    Its also possible the ownership situation at Newcastle doesn't work in their favour. Certainly might be a factor.

    This all day, our facilities and academy set up is top class. If you're a young player and your next few years are at academy level, you want to be spending your days at somewhere like the AOL, not some ****ing council recreation ground in Tyneside.
