I don't think there's anything wrong with him holding out for the move he wanted. I think fans take things too personally when this happens.

He probably was in two minds and even indicated he'd come, but people change their minds and people put themselves first when making their biggest decisions.

He might live to regret it or he might not, but I really don't think he's done anything wrong. It just is what it is.
Wow that’s the most sensible post you have made for a long time. Your chilling in your old age buddy.

This entirely. Just because some club like Hoffenheim were suddenly rich doesn't mean I'd want to play for them over any of the big 4 in this country or even Arsenal or Tottenham. The kid, and he is just a kid, would be mad not to prefer playing for a club in a better position, alongside better players and living in the capital city of his own country.

That really isn't an anti-Newcastle stance. Obviously he could have tried to come and and be honest about it but a) risk looking a fool if PSG weren't interested b) risk really annoying his own club and their fans by talking about a move.
Stop being reasonable. Your making us look good. We are deluded remember. We are owned by billionaires and thus everyone should bow to our mighty power.

Oh ****. Where is the tablets again.

As you where saying.

or 3. and what seems to be the proper version of events. Ekitike agreed the deal, Reims agreed the deal, Ekitike's agent demanded an ridiculous agents fee and couldn't agree his deal.

That's just part of 2 and all explained earlier.. Newcastle will have to get used to paying a few extra pounds to get players to pick them ahead of psg.

Ultimately the point you're missing is that PSG came in.

Like I say he was probably interested/in two minds and then psg increased their interest.

Essentially he changed his mind because a better offer that suited him better cropped up.

That's just how it went I don't think he played anyone. Newcastle would've been very appealing it's just unfortunate psg upped their interest.

There's litterally two options

1.ekitike decided to play newcastle for fun because he's some weird deviant
2.ekitike was keen on Newcastle and indicated he sign, but then his dream move came along.

There's your 3 btw

What happened was psg came in.

Funnily enough both of you told me they hadn't.
It doesn’t matter. The fact is his agent did what he did. Whether that’s Ekitikes fault is irrelevant.

His agent created a sour grape scenario.

Botman clearly wanted to go to MIlan. But as a result of finances and his agent being intelligent he came to us.

We where his second choice. No problem. Because he gave us respect.

We're you born in a test tube?

I'll repeat this again for you

He could have instructed his agent to keep the relationship. He didn’t and his agent messed it up for him. He should have given us the respect.

We may not be a PSG or a Milan. But we are a Premier League football club with ambitious owners and they should have respected that.

His agent didn't mess anything up ... They knew psg were keen like I said weeks ago.

It's not rocket science

It’s irrelevant. The move will happen eventually: but currently PSG are not paying the money.

There have been multiple times where players go to a club because of the money: it’s the only way the smaller clubs make progress.

Supply and demand. If PSG come knocking for a potential target they offer less than us because they can.

Reims don’t accept. Player does not get his move. So moves onto option b. But the agent ****ed up option b.

No

I now know what mental gymnastics means.

“the ability to disregard a perfectly viable scenario because it doesn’t suit your own narrative”.

Do you accept that the agent ****ed up when demanding stupid things from us. NOTE if they where holding out for PSG then why makes the stupid demands in the first place…..

It is relevant because there's only 2 options and I was right you were wrong.

Now you're reverting back to your old argument I literally cannot believe it.

Why is it so difficult for you to understand that

1. Ekitike was keen on joining newcastle, he was in two minds and even gave the indication he'd sign.
2 psg ignored their interest and he changed his mind and asked newcastle fur more to change his mind, but newcastle said no.

That's what happened

No screenshots needed here it’s a simple question: if they where holding out for PSG and or better. Why even entertain us with ridiculous demands?

Seems silly.
