Hmmn.
Feel there's more to come from Alfie Jones. Feel he could be a big part of things still going forward IF given the chance.
Happy to still have Baxter, Ingram & Cartwright here. And will be interesting to see how / if Emmanuel can develop further.
Quite like it that Coyle, Longman and Slater are here and to see where the latter 2 in particular can go with better players around them.
Wilks is a player too but feel he has to now grow up, work his rocks off and show what he can do (or be gone).
He’s not good enough to get in the team now

Trying to temper my excitement at the minute but it’s a tad difficult.

I envisaged this transfer window being one where we’d pluck some talent from the Super Lig but to bring the likes of Seri in as well, not to mention the experience of Figueiredo whilst there a whiff of keeping KLP to boot is making one a little moist in certain intimate areas. :0

Nevertheless, how the team gels together on the pitch and how quickly will determine how well the season gets going but this team is gonna be fun to watch regardless, and it certainly beats the kind of transfer windows we’ve been used to in recent years when people on this forum have got excited over a wide player from the fourth division.

As Forest proved last season as long as it clicks at some point you can take 10 games for it to gel:emoticon-0103-cool:
