I've seen him a couple times for Turkey but i'm no expert. I've spoke to a lot of our new Turkish fans on twitter though. I don't think we'll play with a dedicated 10, I wouldn't say we did in league one either. I saw it as a more a flat 433 but with Honeyman having more creative freedom then the other 2 and license to roam. Formations are fluid anyway 433, 4321 etc are largely just slight variations of the same thing. I am confident we'll be ditching the 3/5 at the back though. The recruitment seems geared to a back 4
Thing is Honeyman could play that role in L1. 18 assists as opposed to 4 in the championship. That's the step up we have to deal with. As was the fact we didn't have the quality to play and had to defend and break quickly with the squad we had last year. I'd love to see what KLP could do for us in a competitive side next year. He kept us up. On scraps.
Is far from the first time. He's part of a squad. He's here for 2 years with a club option of a third. And Tan stated in the Humberside interview we'd have to be patient. Leads me to believe he's was always one signed with an eye to develop.
I really hope he gives us another year but I can't see it. Him being supplied by a decent midfield and having the opportunity to supply a competent striker would take his game to the next level imo. Seri also built up a great relationship with Harry Wilson last year and I believe a lot of their goals came from Seri finding Wilson in behind who would supply Mitro. Would love to see him supply KLP in a similar manner. My worry that if Sinik is the KLP replacement he doesn't have a history of being particularly prolific. That's a big chunk of goals taken out the team that needs replacing and adds even more pressure to the incoming striker.
Yes he did. Basically he's valued at 4.5m but we paid half so got 50%. Part ownership isn't allowed in the UK so they'll turn it into a 50% sell on fee. I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen a fair bit actually with us and Fenerbahce especially. We know Championship proven players go for a massive premium so there's no reason why they can't send us players for a heavily reduced fee and then we split the profit which will likely be significantly more than they would receive if they sold him now. Obviously, they'd have to wait for the money, and it always carries a risk but in the long term it would be worth it
He's pretty much said his goodbyes. Sinik lacks experience of the English game, but he's far more confident and dynamic than KLP and he's played in his country's top flight for quite some time. I think he's more than a capable replacement.
But with a striker who could hit a barn door with a banjo, maybe we just need a winger to be, well a winger?
Didn't see a number of players or Shota either. But yeah Keanos probably going. Most of the fee will go back into the squad not Allamhouse (minus the percentage on the sale price) though.its not like 18m for Bowen and having our pants pulled down for 1m on his unproven replacement though.
Very true. Let's be honest though, you don't get much in the Championship for £2m Carlton Morris has just gone for £2m, don't get me wrong he did well at Barnsley but his record throughout his career is poor.
The full 8 min version is out on youtube now. Jacob and Brandon just seem like great lads. They also showed Sayyadmanesh clothes so at least that confirms he's training
Did I say he was? You just used him as an example of a player who is signing this window as if we can use him before next window. He's pretty out of the picture now.
