I personally think (and it is only my personal opinion before I get shot down) that to attract the likes of Seri to Hull (I love the place as its my birthplace and location of my business etc but it doesn't have the best reputation nationally) we have to be offering him north of £25k a week plus substantial bonuses to even get him to have a look round.
He's a Turkish journalist so I don't think it's Bob down the road writing a tweet. It's in the realm of possibility, and if it's not the exact price, who cares? Just ignore it and move on.
Don't think anyone's saying it's an outrageous wage or a brilliant wage, it was just a comment that it had been mentioned online.
He wouldn’t be living Hull. Players don’t live in Manchester or Liverpool. Or the areas of London where their club is based.

Can you give an actual example of someone on here posting and saying some player is a 'done deal' based on supposed insider knowledge rather than some public tweet or news story? Done deal as in definite rather than we've agreed a fee or it's now down to the player or anything else which stops it being a 'done deal'? I'd be surprised if you can come up with much.

I know, right? Baz does it for a living at Hull Live.
It was posted two days ago and it says he's likely to sign in the next 48 hours and he's just posted another article saying the signing is imminent.
Time to move on I think?
All we need now is Baz's definition of "imminent"
They might not have used those words, as that’s a Jim White phrase, but some people are still believing everything that comes on Twitter as the truth & putting their fantasy team together with players that aren’t coming.
