That's absolutely true but until someone says it's rubbish who's to say it isn't right?

 

It's guesswork when accounts are lodged. You can't work out an individual's wage from the club accounts.

I mean, it's been pretty widely reported what salary Salah is on, is that also rubbish because it's not verified?

 

So a bit like when someone say's we are interested in someone or signing someone who is to say it is not true or rubbish until someone says it's right or wrong?.

 

It's a discussion thread for transfers, I don't see why some are saying there's no point discussing something because we don't know it's 100% true. It'd be like saying we should all sit on our hands until the club announces a signing and only then can we discuss the signing.

 

The problem with it isn’t posting about being linked with players, it’s the people who are saying it’s a done deal, acting like they’re Jim White on transfer deadline day, putting up their teams because we’ve signed x, x & x & all 3 are a huge upgrade, we’ll walk the league, we’re massiver than Wednesday, Forest & Sun’lan, blah, blah, blah. Then all 3 x’s either don’t come or they’re injured or whatever & we’re still stuck with the same we already had, but now, not even that, because we got rid of x, x & x, because they were just **** & would never get a game!
As I’ve said, Acun’s very excitable with his new toy, he seems to be speaking to a lot of people in Turkey, to try & make us bigger than we are, to try & get these players, as we’re actually not massive at all, we’re barely above **** until we start playing & winning games, then we might start having a chance of these players, without them using us as a bargaining chip to get a move where they want to go to!

 

Well, the denial can only come through the press, the same press who originally quoted the figures in the first place.
So they'll still argue the point.
