No point in being cryptic with a wink it just makes you look silly when you say you think we will struggle to sign him.

Why not just say with luck it will happen then it does not look like your covering your arse :emoticon-0145-shake.

Seri’s wife probably doesn’t even exist. Or she might be one those wives you hear about, but you never see, like Captain Mainwaring’s wife in Dad’s Army

Romario Baro isn't exactly like for like, so maybe we'll still be in for him.
Believe Shota worked with Peretz at Tel Aviv, don't really know much about him though

Contracts for those who deserve them will be sorted imo but players also need to be realistic plus advised well and not just see players coming in on much larger wages and instantly feeling they should be around the same. Fair point re Bullard but a huge part of the resentment towards Bullard was how he conducted himself in and around the club etc and not that he was earning more then others. If a player earning more then others puts in the effort and performs for the majority of the time, then we shouldn't see any resentment from within the camp

Hmm, Peretz was a potential target, I wouldn't say he was a viable alternative. Baro we wouldn't get unless it was a loan, never heard his name mentioned but then there'll be loads of things being worked on.

Ethan Hamilton at Accrington has been scouted, he's got a year left on his deal but he's a similar age to Slater and it wouldn't be proactive to sign him unless Slater leaves for some reason.

Yeah Peretz feels more in the mould of Smallwood as a ball winner, Seri would probably work well next to him

He would; don't get me wrong, great player, just don't know with Seri being a potential signing that we'd go for it.

As it stands we've got Tufan, Doc and Slater, then Cannon (who is being shipped out, probably to Stockport). Not sure what's happening with Callum Jones. We need depth in the midfield as it feels light all of a sudden after Moncur, Smallwood and Honeyman departed, I'd have thought a loan would be needed there to work under the experienced lads. We've also got Olly Green coming through the ranks who looks a fine prospect.

Yep, my bad, he was at Peterborough, had their home page open to look at something. Knew it was a League One club.

Hamilton can also play left back, so might be eyeing him as Fleming cover if Elder moves on.

I’d **** Elder off now and have Jacob and Leake as back-up to Fleming.

You should be respectful to your Elders.

I wouldn't cry if he was let go, but Elder is decent back up to Fleming and isn't the problem I know some see him as. He's not the next A-Bob, but he's a decent back up option for the year, with Leake as third choice/cups. Money is better invested elsewhere.

Same with Coyle. We'll see how JE holds out in pre season, because him and Coyle make for decent RB options and 24, there's plenty more JE can give if his health is cleared.
