It's a shame, but I'm not really bothered. We've got an owner who cares and a fanbase coming back, so we've got the club back and it's going to be one hell of a ride.
I'm pretty disappointed, I think he would have been the big name signing to make the league sit up and take notice, signal our intent, and potentially help in keeping someone like KLP at the club. That being said, we may still go out and pick up a big name player so by all means it's not the end of the world, but I think it's ok to be a bit disappointed not to pick up a pretty decent talent who knows the league.
I do hope we haven't agreed a deal to sell KLP yet though, after losing Honeyman and missing out on Seri, it'll no doubt turn the fanbase into a meltdown which ain't ideal the day memberships go on sale
I think Everton selling Richarlison might force their hand a bit earlier. KLP would definitely seem to fit the type of player Lampard is targeting
Think Richarlison was always going so don't think that will change their plans at all, but yes they might want KLP in to bed him in. Still think we'd try to hold off until later.
So we’re currently lining up with a midfield 3 of Jones, Doc and Slater. With no backup. League 2 were coming for you!
Who? Tan laid it straight in the interview that terms were agreed just waiting on the OK from his family. Has it been confirmed ifs fallen through or was it that single tweet last night which was deleted after being contradicted by a Turkish news site?
All it seems to be stemming from though is what was said last night. Might be prudent to hold off on the bed wetting for now.
Not sure how many people you want to read it but I don’t mind giving some feedback, I have a lot of spare time at work so no problem
This Man’s fuel bill for his plane must be outrageous. He spends more time airborne than on the ground.
