Find this hard to believe. I’ve not seen him have a game where he stood out as a weak link. Hard to write off a player when he’s part of such a poor performing side. Looks to me like the leader we’ve been asking for. I want to see him in a regular back line in front of a decent keeper before I judge him.
Although he’s not gone yet and may not go, it’s nice to hear that some of our deadwood and non performers may be on their way… a step in the right direction rather than knowing that someone’s on £65k a week to be good in the changing rooms…

I can imagine that after signing for a Premier League club, giving a few decent performances and winning over a lot of fans, being offered a season long loan to the Turkish 2nd division would feel like 'a bit of a step down'.
