When KLD first took over they spread the good news out over several days, like it was a planned messaging campaign. Feels like the same this (and hopefully next) week.
Absolutely. The lad proved me totally wrong, I didnt think he was loud enough to organise our defence and thought he'd cave after a while. I'm not sure how much Neil's style of football helped him but I'm full of admiration for the lad. We have some good local lads here don't we.
I thought he struggled away at Wycombe in early January… Fast forward 3 months and he couldn’t have been any more composed against them in a big game at Wembley. He really impressed me that day, commanding of his box was superb.
Not for even one millisecond did I think Vokes was scoring. I can't remember being as confident in a keeper for a long time.
early impressions... i thought he looked a little lost, like a rabbit in headlights but liked his decision making in coming for balls...did not have the best start but that could be said for the entire team around the time. now, i think he just looks the part, really composed and never seems to be in a panic, knows when to come for a ball and when to let it go...my main worry in the play off final was the way they would 'bully' keepers at corners, maybe they had to back off a wee bit with having VAR or maybe (and what i prefer to think) patto just handled them really well and got them out of the way enough to get a fist to the ball, i have no problem if he is our first choice lad but a good back up will be needed of course.
Don't get that transfer, he's a good player but don't see him as being good enough for man city. Although pep does make players better when they start playing for him
