I think Fergie said it in one of his autobiographies didn't he? My West Ham supporting wife and in laws say Morrison was excellent when he was there. Apparently, he didn't always turn for training though.
He played 18 league games in 4 years for them. He could have been Messi for 10 of them games and it doesn't make him "excellent for them" in my opinion. I'd be really disappointed if this is anything more than a rumour.
The number of games he played was probably limited due to the fact that, like I said, he didn't bother turning up for training. None of that means that he wasn't necessarily 'excellent' when he played. The point I was making was that he's a very good player with a very big question mark over him about his attitude and character.
Suppose so. Like has been said though, I'm not sure we'd stretch it to someone of his age with his track record. Based on the number of games he played for Derby, he could have turned a corner though.
