Is it safe yet to celebrate the takeover?
There's something puzzling me here.
I keep seeing SAFC valued at £30m.
No debt, own ground, AOL, Championship, etc.
Derby have debt, no ground and in L1.

I genuinely think he came here with the best of intentions but the fact remains that he royally ****ed it up. Some of the decisions he made as chairman look absolutely ridiculous with hindsight, the appointment of Phil Parkinson being the one that really jumps out.He wants to be wanted and liked but hes burned that bridge here. Hes only still here because KLD is letting him be, for now.
Agree with this to be fair, massively out of his depth, there’s a reason he wants to get his money and go back to EastleighI genuinely think he came here with the best of intentions but the fact remains that he royally ****ed it up. Whilst most of us accept that the club had to drastically reduce costs, he seemed to be unable or unwilling to start rebuilding the club. But his biggest crime is what he did to the academy. A generation of youth talent flogged on the cheap. He also managed to **** up a once in a lifetime opportunity for the club to have a genuinely game changing
If you go right back to the start a few weeks ago you will see that the early speculation was all about KLD or his family buying the remaining shares, however there was also mention of KLD moving the goalposts on price as D and M were not prepared to put in their share. When the first deadline passed about a week ago the rumour mill had started up regarding new investors and waters were muddied by TFT however the initial thoughts were that KLD or close associates of the family would be the ones to take the shares this was mentioned by numerous posters who were mostly just looking at the situation and forming their own opinion. The other interested parties could still be in line for the remaining 19 percent but more than likely this will go to MLD or KLD. To be fair buisness wise I think they have played SD like a fiddle. The real questions now are regarding new sponsors and new kit and new signings and not to be looking at who was right and who was wrong. Remember the future is bright the future is red and white. It's called a message board, so I'm allowed my opinion. Not pulling anyone down, just said that no one has really mentioned those 2 increasing their shares. It's all been rumours of a third party buying out SD and CM.

Let's chill gonna play golf in a hourYou need to read properly and stop trying to cause a argument. My post was a reply to someone who said Bob got it spot on. All I said was that he didn't as nobody has mentioned JS increasing his shares, that's not having a go that's stating a fact. As I have said Bob has got stuff right before on the rtg, so have no problem with him giving his opinion. You seem intent on having a arguement for some strange reason
The new valuation for SAFC is now £72 million in Feb of this year it was for sale at £36 million.Would imagine our most recently valuation will have jumped significantly.

I think he came here with the intention of making some money. Buy the club with it's own money, get promoted then sell it on for a massive profit. When that failed he had no plan B and we drifted for 2 years until KLD came inI genuinely think he came here with the best of intentions but the fact remains that he royally ****ed it up.
