You'll get a lot of this now that players and agents have been away in the sunshine. All kinds of gossip will be flying around.
Just remember that the people telling you things are often repeating what someone else has told them. I keep saying it's just banter between agents/players/press etc, but some people see it that I'm making claims. I'm not. I got to know a fair few agents when I did some work for Ken Bates in Monaco.

He seems to be able to play in various positions and styles.
So he wouldn't be a replacement for any particular player.
Him and Matete fighting for a place would be interesting.

He’s the main one out of the three contracts we’ve offered I’d want to sign. I’d also like Wright & Gooch to sign too but I do think Roberts has something really special about him. Genuine championship quality.
I'll give you the top 6 mate but not the rest. Pope is a proven prem keeper and I'm a bit gutted he may sign for them. Saying that, Burnley still went down so I live I hope.
