Just seen and couldn't help but overhear one of the most unprofessional things ever. A football agent called Ben, or at least someone pretending to be, who is in partnership with someone called Gareth, has just spoken to a footballer that sounded like "Paco" to tell him SAFC want to sign him and the signing on fee will be £45k and if he signs it he'll be off to Portugal for pre-season training. Surely walking around a hotel lobby in your flip flops is not the right place to have such a conversation in my humble opinion.

I know Antony Patterson’s agent is called Ben. He’s part of CAA Base agency. Just a guess but he could have been saying Patto and we’re trying to update his contract before pre-season. Pure speculation on my part though as I know his agent.

I haven't heard anything at all mate. It was just more from reading Twitter and SSN about other clubs. Just seems like things have clicked a bit today for some reason
