Only ever seems to announce we are linked with players after a Turkish journo does it. Hull Daily Fail doesn’t appear to be in the loop at all.
or he’s been promised the exclusive when it’s made official….sit tight & do as your told….
I think Baz is very much in the loop, he’s just not announcing anything he’s been asked not to reveal yet.
Just seems a tad strange when a random Turkish journalist reveals it he is no longer required to remain quiet. I like Baz but he rarely reveals anything transfer wise…
He's our local journalist and it's essential he keeps on good terms with the club. He won't want another falling out and him being banned from games or denied access to the manager/players. The club clearly trust him as they've given him so much info already in their short tenure and he can keep us fans informed without stating names
They definitely hold him in higher regards then they do burnsy
You don't even hear of Burnsy any more, I thought he'd have been all over it since the takeover but I've barely heard a peep from him
I like burnsy, I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea
I 100% agree. He’s a great promoter / ambassador for the area. But not a great commentator but overall I like him
Maybe...
A) He's learned from past mistakes...
B) He's hoping to be on the free holiday list, so behaving for now...
C) Acun's mate is the President of Turkey and you don't mess with him...
I actually don’t mind his commentary, he says it as he sees it. Some people find him negative but sometimes we are ****e “fact”
IMHO Burnsey is not a bad commentator when you compare him with the like of the geezers on Radio Nottingham (he's a berk) Radio Sheffield (Andy Giddins for the Blunts) Radio Norfolk, Radio Lincoln etc...I think Burns ranks pretty high when compared to that lot...It's his hero worship of Swann that makes him look bad. Stick him with a decent sidekick, who isnt Swann, and Burnsey would improve no end.
I’ve met Burnsy previously quite a few years ago. Genuinely a nice bloke and I don’t mind his commentary at all. He’s better than most the local radio commentators other fans have to suffer. Whoever did the commentary, someone would have something to complain about, no doubt. There’s more to life.
