Why Huddersfield? I’d much rather Forest!

Except I suppose if Huddersfield win there’s only two other relegation places to avoid next season

It's the same "what I want as neutral fan vs what I want as a Saints fan" question which I had last weekend when it came to Leeds or Burnley.

And the answer remains the same: the Saints fan in me wins out, and Huddersfield getting promoted suits us better in my opinion. So come on Huddersfield.

Blimey. Tough VAR call there. Looked like a theatrical dive but there was contact

Looked like a penalty to me, and I was expecting VAR to overturn it. But I didn't like the theatrics involved, and that has probably counted against him.

In an ideal world, the football lawmakers would wake up to the fact that it is possible for something to be both a foul and simulation (and hence allow a referee to give both a penalty and a yellow card to the attacker). But until we ever reach that stage, I'm not against that not being given a penalty.
