Oh come off it. Let's be honest he may have left under a bit of a cloud but we'd all take him back like a shot.
I would but egos would never allow that to happen - notably his. It would basically be such a “tail between legs” moment. Wasn’t he also quoted about it being his last contract ?
Taking him back would be stupid. Burnt his bridges im afraid. If it was just down to ability then of course we would have him.
But fans would be on his back after any mistake or quiet spell. Plus he is now a year older, would still want big wages and wasnt as good this season.

If Villa do move him on to bring in Suarez could see him going to Brighton or West Ham and doing quite well.
Yeah and we'd all say no to Van Dijk and Mane as well.

Yes, I know, sadly! Was just thinking, if we still had Markus/Nicola at the helm we’d be going for people like Noni Madueke in this window. Will be interesting to see how far away from that we are.

Hmm, he had a good season with us but the rest of his time here was not successful. It is starting to look like last season was a one off, he has been dreadful with Leicester.

Brighton would be good shout for him though, Brighton with someone who can finish would be a scary prospect.
