Conte said Kulu, Gollini, Lloris and Winks were the players suffering with vomiting and stomach issues.

Big of Hugo to play today and put in an assured performance. I voted for him as our POTY too, feels like he’s owed one, can’t believe he’s never won it before.

@remembercolinlee what were the post-match events like? Was there a lap of honour by the players?

Whatever happened, I assume the atmosphere was markedly different to the toxic debacle at the end of last season.

Most of the crowd stayed for it...Great atmosphere throughout the game and after...think it shows that fans feel a sense of promise for next season.

Was a bit worried that it would be a bit flat today but as fans we were magnificent. It really carried the team to the end.

The bond between the club (,on and off the pitch) and fans was completely broken early this season...not the case now.

Thought Emerson was good again today. He really does put a shift in . His passing and crossing although not outstanding has certainly much improved the last few games.
I personally think Emerson would be an excellent RCB in the three and would trust him far more as a deputy to Romero than Sanchez.
Also he'd be an extra option at RWB.

And a word of praise for Sessegnon the more he plays the better he gets and don't forget how young he is.

Not sure about that. He was dreadful for 65-70 minutes. Last 20 or so he put in some good crosses though that we should’ve done better from.

I just don't see him as dreadful to me he looks like skillful youngster who is learning the ropes but with massive potential.

Failed to beat his man once in the first half (and half of the second) and is often far too timid with the ball despite having decent technical ability. He gave the ball away about 5 times in the first 5 mins of the second half too.

I’ve really wanted it to work for him as he’s a great guy but I’m not sure he’s going to become the player we want or need him to be. He’s still young though so still has time but I’m not sure we can keep affording players time if we want to go up a level under Conte.

BT Sport woeful coverage again today ,Hoddle was his usual atmosphere vacuum and the commentator said " Kane not scored again .................in the second half <doh>
I was anti Amazon Prime but on reflection they piss all over BT

<laugh> I noticed that too, tried playing it off with that second half bit but he knew he ****ed up.

Here's hoping it ain't a repeat of February <yikes>
And our fans traveled all the way all the way to Burnley and thanks to no underfloor heating didn't get a match. A few traveled from the USA. I won't miss Burnley.

Thought we looked tired physically but on the whole were very calm and controlled which says (to me at least) that mentally we are recovering from the past 2 years.

The good
1. We won
2. Hugo and the defence
3. How hard the team worked.
4. The crowd...magnificent from minute one...really carried the team today.
5.VAR

The bad
1. Moura. Looks totally devoid of confidence.

The Ugly
1. The state of our bench ... boy do we have a weak squad!

The funny as ****
1. Burnley conceding a penalty In the 5th minute of added time...which all came from their time-wasting.
2. Burnley complaining about us time wasting <laugh>
