Pondering it more, my Bergwijn comment was incorrect.
Moura has never been an "impact" sub (apart from that
PL game away against Citeh) , whereas Bergwijn has been.

The least we can hope for is that he is not an hindrance
to the attack, but is a distraction/diversion for the Burnley defence.

I had high hopes Lucas would be a Defoe-esque impact sub after dropping to the bench, but the opposite has happened and I've rarely been so wrong about something (though probably not as wide as my prediction that Sanchez would be "the next Ledley King").

The problem is, Bergwijn wants out and has clearly stated as much in interviews. Wouldn't surprise me if a deal in principle has already been agreed with Ajax, pending approval of their new manager.

Just past half way up the south stand...
Still can't get over the kick off time on a Sunday <grr>

Really crap for the Burnley fans tbh.

No doubt the national rail networks have been fully
considerate of the Burnley supporters for such an
inconvenient KO date/time, and ...

scheduled full engineering works today between
Burnley and London (with replacement bus services) .

Kane so close.

really hope it’s not gonna be one of those days, and could really do without Nick Pope impersonating Ben Foster.
