Nothing of real importance or that you couldn't guess I don't think. Jeff and teh guys praised the back 4 notably but pointed out Obertan has had little effect. They also criticised Santon for saying we should aim for a top 4 place and have the squad to do so..

How is that bad? We're ambitious and the top 4 should be the aim for all sides that aren't newly promoted.

Why on earth would they criticise ambition? He's hardly said we deserve the top 4, just why the hell not aim.

Pathetic, if you don't have belief then you aren't going to get anywhere. Hopefully this sort of dismissive attitude from the media will spur the lads on more <diva>.

Most Sunderland fans were promising we'd hear a reception for Bent that would make our Owen reception look friendly. Not even remotely been the case so far.

So how are people viewing Santon then? As a RB with Simpson as cover? Cover for RB and LB? or a starting LB? I got the impression he would be our new LB at the start of the season but other people's opinions and news of us still trying to sign a LB hint at something else..?

I think he was intended to be a LB, but in training he might have shown more promise on the right.

Or a "vile and sickening" reception as the Sun will report it the next day. <ok>

With a quote from Carroll playing the victim. "I can't understand it, I had some great times there especially under Hughton. I'll never forget all the goals I scored.. blah blah." Up yours, you lanky prick.
