Not denying he’s a good player however there’s still a lot of room for improvement especially when it comes to his finishing, multiple times a game he’ll take shots that go way over or out for a throwingKLP's finishing is in question again after him scoring two goals. Strange. His abilities seem to be less appreciated by City fans than anyone else. Baz Cooper talks him up, Shota talks him up, England call him up, bigger clubs want to sign him up and opposition managers constantly talk of fearing him (up?). But an awful lot of City fans on here and on Twitter really focus on the negatives with his game.
I've noticed a similar thing with Greaves this week with the player of the year voting; local media all seem to be saying he's their clear winner, but the majority of fans I've seen online are talking him down, and looking for negatives to focus on. In the first half of the season Bernard was getting more praise than Greaves which was absurd, and now McLoughlin probably gets more, which is less absurd but I still disagree with it.
Really weird to me, that we've got these two incredible young academy players, who are recognised around the game as being really exciting young players with huge futures, but so many City supporters don't really appreciate them and in fact talk them down. Everyone likes the idea of embracing youth and building academies but when the players actually come out of it we don't seem to want to enjoy and celebrate them.
I don’t think there’s anyone else in our team I’d rather have on a finishNot denying he’s a good player however there’s still a lot of room for improvement especially when it comes to his finishing, multiple times a game he’ll take shots that go way over or out for a throwingMy point was he’s not a ‘natural‘
Me neither, still doesn’t make him a natural though hahaI don’t think there’s anyone else in our team I’d rather have on a finish

He is definitely a natural, if he’s 1 on 1 he’s scoring he misses more the one touch finishes but the fact he gets in those positions means it’ll come with experienceMe neither, still doesn’t make him a natural though haha
Well said sir, as we all know, people are allowed their opinions, but **** me, there are some who shouldn't beKLP's finishing is in question again after him scoring two goals. Strange. If he had a performance like yesterday every week he'd score 92 goals a season. He is quite consistent in his effort and performance, I would say. That doesn't always get you a goal, that's just reality, but it doesn't mean a player hasn't played well.
Especially considering the inconsistency of the players who get the ball to him.I agree, I think he's stepped up very well to this level which isn't an easy thing to do.

Exactly, with a bit of money spent on the team, I think we'll see even more from him.
I really hope we get to see it. I think he, and some of our other good young players, could step up even further with more quality around them.

It’ll be a tough pill to swallow for some but it’s the only way you can maintain a team at the top of the championship if you fail to go up. (Brentford)OR they get sold to finance the rebuilding for the play off push?
Acun is a great fella, but he’s not a UHNW individual we have to be pragmatic

I don't think we need a UHNW owner to enhance what we've currently got to get us to a top 6 finish, more about buying the right people, ie not short-term, expensive mercenaries. We should try hard to keep KLP, Greaves imo..OR they get sold to finance the rebuilding for the play off push?
