I don't think we need a UHNW owner to enhance what we've currently got to get us to a top 6 finish, more about buying the right people, ie not short-term, expensive mercenaries. We should try hard to keep KLP, Greaves imo..
Shota summed it up perfectly, you have to give them new deals or they will go

You’re joking right???

several players on 20k + / week, plus transfer fees…..100 + back office staff
The TV money doesn’t go far in this league.

Acuns wealth could be all gone inside 3 years!!

OR they get sold to finance the rebuilding for the play off push?
Acun is a great fella, but he’s not a UHNW individual we have to be pragmatic

I personally think we'll see them stay one more season, the figures I've seen/heard talked about from other clubs re what they would be prepared to pay for KLP isn't worth taking imo as another season with better players around him should make him better and more valuable ( if it was the allams in charge Still he would be gone in summer I'm almost certain )

This summer I'd be more worried about losing greaves, he's the player the scouts and managers ( bank hol Monday for example ) are coming to watch ATM and he's impressing them.

Also heard today that shotas comment re new contract re KLP are on the nail and it will start this week, getting KLP signing it will be the hardest part of the deal imo

I hope we keep both and we see both of them get a shot in the Prem with us

Fingers crossed, let’s hope so. Dare to dream….

It’ll be a tough pill to swallow for some but it’s the only way you can maintain a team at the top of the championship if you fail to go up. (Brentford)

It would take more then just one or 2 to do that as well, the only way to compete regularly at the top of the champ is to be bank rolled either by the PREM money when you've come down or by owners. You will get the odd team each season push up there like Luton / Huddersfield this season, but you'll see them fade away next season if they don't go up as we have seen with Barnsley this season

Greaves has the higher ceiling for me. Left sided centre half who’s developing a nasty side, can drive forward with the ball, quite dominant aerially, technically sound.

Prone to a mistake or 2 but even those at the top level are. Sarr for Chelsea the other day was comically bad.

These big fees are mentioned for KLP rightly so but Greavesy could be going for more after a season competing at the top end.

If we get an offer of, say, £15m plus bonuses and sell on related stuff, I think that's a fair offer. I suspect Forss was loaned to us perhaps in anticipation of being part of a bid for KLP.

At least £30m for him and Greaves and I'd say we've done very well indeed. Not saying we should sell them, but if we were going to, that's the sort of money we should be asking for.

Isn’t the issue though, that leaves us with the ability to sign three or four £5m players on good wages.

But players of that value are unlikely to want to join Hull City or fit our wage structure. So do we REALLY need the money?

I'm not sure if the wage structure in place under the Allams will be the same under Acun. I think players will be offered new contracts in line with what we want to spend.

I don't think we need the money because we're solvent, however, if we were going to sell them, I think we'd want as much as possible. We're already at a disadvantage because we know KLP wants to play in the Premier League, so that'll push a deal further forward.

KLP isn’t ready for the Prem. All he needs to do is look at Tymon and Bowen.

Another year in this Division is needed. If he does move you’ll not hear his name for another 2-3 years. Brennan Johnson is a better player at the minute. We should be asking 15 million plus.

Greaves is similar. However his upside is far greater in my eyes.
