I thought Sean Dyche had been appointed when I saw the picturesUtd appoint Ten Hag confirmed.
I’m glad as part of me was worried Conte might have been tempted by them

I know we're mainly talking about ManU at the moment, but the Chelsea thing is so much of an unknown quantity. I've said it before but I can't fathom how Chelsea are worth some of the figures being banded about, since surely they can't be worth that much more than the players on their current contracts? Nevertheless I would be surprised if the new owners, particularly if American, will be as generous as the previous criminal. After all, some have done takeovers by dumping a lot of new debt on the club they get [rubs hands together]. If they do turn out to be as generous then surely something else dodgy is going on? I say something *else* because we can be sure that something is dodgy in all of these proposals. That is dodgy on top of the idea that it appears the huge loan to Cheski is never going to be repaid, which means it was never a loan, and yet somehow doesn't break FFP.
Fact is Chelsea makes less money over and above their wages than most, so how are the new owners going to address this, particularly if they initiate a lot of new spending?

If I were mega-rich, I'd be headed to Tory Britain because there would be a guarantee that I'd pay less tax than Gary BarlowNot condoning it but isn’t that what most rich people do (look for ways to avoid paying tax)
And if I was mega rich then I’d be straight out of Tory Britain asap too![]()
If I’m honest I think we’re a fair way off of City and Pool. Whilst City have their backing they’re going to be almost impossible to catch unless a team nails it at recruitment over many windows like Pool have done under Edwards and Klopp, you then also need the manager like Klopp to make it work. Pool are now in a position though where they’re leagues above most of Europe thanks to that recruitment and so if they maintain it with more good signings (like Diaz) then it’ll be hard to overtake them.
Chelsea could be caught, depending on how their eventual new owners go about things. They could lose Rudiger on a free who’s been one of the top CBs in the Prem since he came, Silva isn’t getting younger, Christensen is also leaving on a free supposedly to Barca, whilst Azpi could go too with just a year left on his deal. That’s the whole heart of their defence either leaving or ageing and it won’t be easy to replace all that quality so quickly which could open up a chance to catch them, albeit it’s still slim I’d say.
Getting top four will be huge for us this season as it likely helps keep Kane and gives Conte/ Paratici a wider pool of players to target. I think fourth place could be a real battle over the next few years though between us, Arsenal, Utd and possibly West Ham/ Leicester. Sooner or later one team needs to get it right to secure it long term, I hope that’s us, certainly more optimistic with Paratici and Conte than I was in the last couple years.
He pissed us off on more than one occasion. His refusal to accept that the police and the club found no evidence of facial abuse directed at him. He had previously got Son sent off with hid ridiculous reaction after he fouled SonDebatable. He's been class for the past season and a half (since tuchel come). I remember you guys all saying you wouldn't want him whatsoever (for his footballing ability rather than when he pissed you guys off was it last year for racism claims) and i was asked for feedback between him and sanchez which i said he'd be a good buy and better than sanchez.
He started off well, went downhill and is now great.

He basically called Spurs fans racists for not reporting something that didn't happen:
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...r-says-racism-won-after-abuse-goes-unpunished
He points to the Marega abuse without noticing that the events don't parallel each other.
Everyone heard the **** that was hurled at the other player. Nobody heard any towards Rudiger.
His own teammates that were next to him didn't hear it.
There's nothing to support his claims and yet he doesn't even appear to consider that he might be mistaken.
If there were any monkey gestures then I can't see how the cameras would've missed them.
He's slurred the club and the fans while playing for a racist club owned by a crook. **** him.
He was racially abused by Lazio fans, but that's not exactly a massive surprise. If Rudiger was in an overseas league and did all of this,
and was publicly angling for a move to the PL, I would
immediately say he would be a "good fit" for Chelsea.

One of their defenders joined in too, which isn't much of a shock either.
Or microphones, apparently. And cameras can't pick up their gestures.Oh, he has now grown auditory superpowers meaning
he can hear the "dog whistle" frequencies that Spurs race
haters chant, that all those mere mortals in the WHL
crowd cannot.
Chelsea look jaded
Not sure about that, I expect Chelsea to be back soon as strong as ever. You have played a lot of games this season and the ownership issue spreads uncertainty in the players. The defence has completely unraveled, we need the end of the season fast.
The future looks very uncertain for us and United - huge opportunity for Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester if they all get their act together and start strong next season.
