Can not think of a single Everton player I'd want tbh.
Pickford is beyond over rated, Richarlison is OK but doesn't work hard game in game out gor me and DCL scores in patches but misses a lot of chances.

Richarlison and DLC also look injury prone.

I think Gordon is quite “meh”. He’s been Everton’s shining light this season but I get the feeling he’s going to be one of those players who looks ok in a poor team but won’t ever be a top six calibre player. Reminds me of how Townsend was when he was younger, bit of hype and excitement but ultimately would only be a decent Prem player/ journeyman type (sorry, Andros!).

Cue this statement coming back to haunt me though when he becomes an all time great.

There’s no one I’d take from Everton to be honest, I would say Calvert-Lewin but he’s had his share of injuries and I’m not sure spending upwards of £50m on him would be a smart idea.
A lot of Everton's issues this season can be summed up by how, early in the season, they had Calvert Lewin or Richarlison in the middle (or even a front two) with Grey and Townsend down each flank and they were getting results - but since Fat Frank took over their wingers change every week, not helped by Townsend doing his cruciate a week or two ago, as demonstrated by their last three lineups
Newcastle: Gray Richarlison Iwobi
West Scam: Richarlison Calvert-Lewin Gray
Burnley: Richarlison Calvert-Lewin Gordon

So in three games Gray has gone from the LW to the RW to the bench, while in those same three games Gordon's gone from AM to bench to RW, with no rhyme or reason for them coming into or dropping out of the side

From 18th September onwards Evertons record in the league is;
P25 W4 D3 L18 GF22 GA48 Pts 15 GD -26
They are averaging 0.6 pts per game which makes 23 pts over a full season.

They've failed to score 10 times.
They've only kept 4 clean sheets

They've had the same number of red cards as wins in this time.

They are simply **** and have been all season bar the first 4 games (won 3 drew 1)...they were above us after game week 4!

They were averaging more with a settled lineup, even if the results were sliding

Fat Frank chopping and changing the lineup one game to the next is a large part of why they look disjointed up top, which is fatal for a side who need their attack to bail out their shoddy defence

Interesting quotes from Conte yesterday stating that he wasnts a playmaker number 10 for next season as he wants Kane to play more as a striker.
We've always set up in a 343 under Conte bar a couple of games where we've gone with a 352 ( Liverpool at home for example)

Obviously bringing back Eriksen as his number 10 would be ideal or do we go for someone else ?

If it's two up top would we still need to buy a specialist CF if we had Kane, Son, Bergwijn and Lucas with Kulu able to cover striker and number 10 role?

What's interesting is that, when Conte had Inter playing 3412, he just as often had Alexis Sanchez partnering Lukaku as he did Lautaro Martinez

Why do I mention this? Well, simply put, not only does that indicate the possibility of Son and Kane as a front two based on our current squad, but also Deki could be rotating between playing in the hole and playing in the front two as he's played in both those roles

Obviously there's the need for an additional striker to take the weight off Kane if it's likely Parrott, Scarlett and Etete will all be loaned next season (but not Richarlison, unless we're planning on giving Cuti a dog toy in training)

...
"Dejan Kulusevski’s impact has been something incredible.
Tottenham sources considers his permanent signing ‘matter of time’,
€35m fee is not gonna be an issue.

To give some perspective on this ...

Each PL club will get a 'base' revenue from the PL,
and then an extra amount per position in the table above bottom.

Merely by finishing 5th this season, Spurs have probably
earned the extra revenue to make the Kulu fee "zero sum" .

Serie A Rando Watch
The Corriere dello Sport claim that we've sent feelers in Bologna's general direction about Matthias Svanberg, who would be cheaper than he would have been when we were linked in January as he's not signing a contract extension in spite his deal expiring in the summer of 2023

Given his pricetag is likely to be reasonable, and he can be best described as Hojbjerg if Hojbjerg looked to play through balls, he's certainly a much better fit for a Conte CM than Ndombele and also let us rest Hojbjerg for games where his shins look like they had an argument with a cheese grater

Not sure we need cover / rotation for PEH, think Conte sees Skippy and PEH competing for that midfield destroyer role.

It's cover rotation for Bentacur I think we need, that elegant CM who reads the game and plays quick forward passes into the attackers.

Nico Schira says we had scouts watching Singo today in Torino's 0-0 draw with Milan. Singo's name keeps popping up lately so could be one to watch in the summer.

Ekrem Konur says us and Arsenal have been offered Asensio whilst his agent’s also due to meet with Milan.

Few years back he was looking like he’d become Spain’s next golden boy but tailed off a fair bit since.
