The last 15 mins yesterday felt massive. Sheff wed and wycombe threw away 2 points, we gained 2 points and Oxford fell further behind. That feels a big swing in our favour. Play offs now are ours to lose. Assuming we get there we are perhaps in the sort of form that makes us favourites. What we cant afford is a key injury or two.

Tricky Easter coming up for us. Shrewsbury in good form, as are Plymouth who seem even less likely than us to concede. 4 points from them, or dare I even dream of 6, and we will be on an unbelievable run of form. Might even be able to get some rest into players before the playoffs.

I think that the players are learning to play Neil's way of playing if you get what I mean. They're not panicking if it's not going their way and just keep going until the final whistle. That can only be a good thing and will see us pick up more points than we did going all out attack and leaving ourselves wide open for the counter

Pattersons save was crucial! The goals of course also... we needed both.

For their goal would Batth have got the header?

If supporting Sunderland after all these years has taught me anything, its just have to wait and see. I still fancy and Sunderland MK Dons play off final mind.

Wigan, man. Going to the wall one minute, then get taken over, spend some actual money on players. Take a few weeks off for covid, come back fresh as a daisy. Couple of set backs (us twatting them) then piss promotion.

not sure, their lad was clever, looked like he used wright as a 'pivot' to get his height...could see by wrights face he looked like a lad that had been caught out and knows he should never be caught out like that but it happens.

good thing is, they never dropped their heads and kept plugging away, pattersons save may well have been the spur they needed as well as being a 'game saver' and could prove to be a major turning point.

Always one team who finds form before the play offs and usually ends up winning them. We're usually licking our wounds from the lost battle for automatic promotion. Feels better ****housing our way in after being terrible.

I understand that sort of logic..

There was I thinking to myself o the 17th tee, I haven't lost a ball for nearly 3 rounds.... but then realised that was a thought I should not of had.. of course I promotly hooked my drive into trouble and lost the ball.

Somehow sport has that perverted logic, or commentators mockers etc. It happens quite a lot.

Rotherham must have reckoned they were a certain bet for automatic promotion!

Coming into February I remember Rotherham had just won at Plymouth.

They were about 10 points clear of third place, game in hand and celebrated like they'd won the league.

They're now 6 points off top and have a very difficult April ...

... by the time they come to the SOL we could be looking to go above them.

It's a mad league this and anything can still happen.
