I’m confident that we will make the play offs. I’m confident of getting to the final and I’m also confident that we will win said final. :emoticon-0148-yes::1980_boogie_down: Confidence is high . :emoticon-0136-giggl

    I'm enjoying it all tbh.

When I walked out of Bolton I couldn't imagine us going up, we were abysmal. Now I think we're as good as any of the other teams we need to get above or beat, our thrashing of Wigan proved that beyond any doubt. I'm confident we can do the same at Oxford which would put us in the driving seat.

No one would want us in the play-offs and we have enough players, with experience of Wembley, to win there.

    Our hotel is already booked.

Sigh.. oh dear… so sad, we won’t get to the playoffs, and even if we did we’d be drawn against Charlton and lose to the last kick of the game, probably go to penalties and our last player will slip 0n his arse as he takes it. Even if we did get promoted we’d just come straight back down again... might as well just stay where we are… “It’s being so cheerful that keeps me going!” (ITMA).

We're unbeaten in five games, winning three.

Oxford have won two of their last four games, losing one.

Sheff Wed have won one of their last four games, losing one.

Wycombe have won two of their last four.

They're our rivals and no more consistent than us.

I think Plymouth is on the telly Saturday? Will be interesting to see how they look. A team we have already beaten earlier this season. FWIW - I think we will finish fourth. It will be nice to avoid MK Dons in third. But we just need to show up, and under Neil we don't leak goals.

Well, maybe not happy, but less distraught than another year of this!

We’re not playing the attractive football that we could under LJ but I think we look more of a team team and don’t concede too many either. Some good players to come back and a manager that doesn’t bullshit, I’m confident about the play offs but owt can happen, I genuinely think he’ll get us up automatically next season if we don’t win the play offs this time.

Just work hard and pick up more points we still have a great chance to reach the play offs

We’ve been in the driving seat with everything in our hands in 3 of the last 4 seasons. Games in hand etc etc. This time we’re an outsider. Maybe it’s what we need

What I take out of the last few games under Neil is that we're no longer soft touches defending our goal. If we keep a clean sheet, we have players who can score goals. Granted we didn't score in the last game but how many watched that and said we should've won? Alex Neil's plan is starting to come together and I don't think we have anyone to fear in this league

I thought this was our year early on in the season. We did well, then the shìt hit the fan and we lost the manager.
I'm just sitting back now and hoping things go our way.
It will come, but hopefully now and there will be scenes if it happens this season.
    Fingers crossed :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

Same here, I feel like recently I've taken a back seat and I'm seeing how things unfold rather than being fully involved emotionally. Been a tough season, let's hope for a fairytale ending. I'm not sure if Neil believes in fairies, he probably does, but I think he's a safe pair of hands for the business end of the season and we'll do our best.

I need us to get promotion.
It affects my life FFS .
That's why I have tried to stay away from here lately.

I know what you mean mate I've been feeling similar. Been trying to convince myself that we don't need to get promoted this year, for the sake of my mental health, with mixed results.

For the record I do fancy us for it. Neil is solid.

I'm more like 90% that we'll make the playoffs now, and not in 6th place either. Once we're in them, we've got as much chance, and maybe a little bit more, as any of the other teams, but it's the playoffs, so who knows. Fingers crossed
