The pitch was ok up until Fulham when we had torrential rain. The weather was poor for a few days and then FC had a match. In bad weather ..it hasn’t recovered since..
Afternoon all.... three things stood out for me from last night and the debacle surrounding Rugby at MKM....

1. I think Acun was hovering on a vote of what people wanted in regard of ground sharing when he was rudely interrupted... maybe I misinterpreted...

2. The lady who wanted further discounts for supporting both. Does that mean she gets to keep the same seat for both codes, depriving a City fan of his seat who doesn't support Hull FC...

3. When City were promoted to the Premiership, there was some statistic about how much revenue the City got from global exposure, away fans making a weekend of it etc etc, maybe companies looking at Hull in a different way. Now there is obviously a lot of interest in City in Turkey and who knows other nations Acun is involved with. He mentioned he is having to sell City merchandise internationally. My question is, what benefit to the City is a burger bought by a Castleford fan who is going to **** off home when the game has finished. And that is where the huge disparity in the use of the stadium lies for me.
New type of half and half scarves.

Not sure it’s a good motivator to announce you’re getting 8 replacements for mostly first team players with no contract guaranteed yet . What do you think , I am sure some will know where they stand but if they are still playing could it be f**k you ! We had that two years ago!

Either way they need to show that if they are not in Shota plans then they have to perform to show others that they are worth a contract. So it shouldn't change their attitude.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but hopefully Ash will be brought into the club in some capacity.

has barmby got a role yet ?

did anyone else get the feeling we may play 2 up front next season, acun spoke about an experienced striker and klp

Someone asked the question about Ash being involved in some way, and Acun said he would look into it.

I don't think Nick has a role as such, just good he is back watching games.

Shota's preferred system in 433, so I guess the answer to 2 upfront probably is no.

If I lived in Hull and wasn’t now stuck with other commitments on Saturday afternoons I would deffo have a membership for daughter and I at current prices. I don’t think they’re too far out although dropping the adult to like £27.50 or £28.50 just makes it feel a whole lot cheaper and would probably be more persuasive to those on lower incomes.

Match ticket prices are unattainable. £27 for Cardiff game. It’s like a once in a month thing. I think they need levelling out particularly in this division. A category A game is only a Cat A game if you’re at the top of the league and the team your playing is too.

What I said could be described in many ways I suppose.

Just interested to know why you picked out snobby.
Just seemed a little like looking down at most football fans to assume we are incapable of going somewhere without embarrassing our city.
Maybe bad choice of words and I maybe misunderstood your point?

Someone pointed out on Twitter it was a bit like Alan Partridge when he bought all his staff some cheap fizz and then announced he was sacking them all , Acun took them
All for Lunch then announced on the night most need replacing <laugh>

I find it funny in a way how he's so forthright about our strikers being **** in particular. He's said loads of times we need a new one, we don't have good ones etc, and the other night he said about KLP "he's good now but he could be even better when he plays with a good striker". Bit less diplomatic than most clubs officials there.

Fair enough.

Apart from the 'looking down' part, that was pretty much my point. Hopefully, I'll be totally wrong.

I always get an aisle seat.
Hope there’s going to be no riff raff on our plane den.
I assume askew is your plus 1?
I’m taking Ben, he likes a window seat
So I’m hoping we’ll get a skinny ****er for the middle seat

I’ll take your £2 ticket.

Size 28 jeans.

He was a bit more tactful than that though. There was no suggestion at all that there'd be a big clear out. In fact he at times sounded almost worryingly too loyal / sympathetic (not right word) to current players. No doubt a few will go, but maybe the main aim with the quoted 8 is to add desperately needed quality, experience, options, depth to the current squad. As someone else posted, I think some underestimate how far off our current squad is from being a force at this level
