Honestly can't get my head around this. Especially in light of England's own booing England's own on the back of dodgy form at a basket case club despite not really putting a foot wrong for England.

If Ozil signed for City he would literally be the most talented player to ever pull on the shirt. The only way it could happen would be for shares in the company as we (or any other second tier club) couldn't pay the wages he could earn elsewhere.

Yet, no matter how unlikely we'd sign him some people compare him unfavourably to a 36 year old JJ - who never won a world Cup let alone earned close to 100 international caps for a world class footballing nation, is probably one of the top 10 forwards ever to play in the Premier League and is a so called 'has been' at only a matter of months older than a club legend (Barmbs) was when he signed.

I wouldnt want to see him come in and disrupt the squad as far as disparity in wages/****ty attitude is concerned, but **** me! Some people think we, at the bottom end of the champ could do better than signing this guy beggars belief.

If we could get him and he's motivated. Snap his bloody hand off....

An 80% Ozil at 32 would still have the potential to be the best player in this league by a long way.

... And given the long standing 'friendship' with the owner if what's reported is true, then it's a bit patronising to think that Acun wouldn't know exactly what he was getting if it happened.

Or maybe we'd better take the extra year option on a decrepit Huddlestone and build a team around him instead next year....

    Yeah, **** Ozil, he's crap <doh>

Barmby was 29 when he signed for us, and he signed for us because he wanted to help his hometown club, not come for a last huge pay day.

Why on earth would we want to sign Ozil who has never shown himself to be anything other than a luxury player - happy to play when the side is winning but goes missing if there's the first sign of trouble. Not the sort of player you want in the Championship.

I’d rather sign Allayahar than Ozil.

He punched and attempted to bribe a copper in another country and still gets to captain arguably the biggest club in English football and play for his country, even though he’s dogshit.

Mad how some on here hold a kid running on the pitch to get a selfie with Ingram to a higher moral standard than a **** like Maguire lmao.

Wasn’t he getting £2k/wk from us with Leeds making up the other £28k/wk?
Or have I misheard/made this up?

Leeds paid him £1m to cancel his contract and he signed for us on £28k a week less than he was getting at Leeds, far less than he could have got signing for another club.

You seriously think a Premier League player on £30k a week had no option but to drop straight down to League One club on £2k a week? <doh>

After all the stick that Forss has got, one stat that doesn't prove much but is interesting:
Goal involvements (i.e. goals plus assists) on a per 90 basis
    KLP 0.29
    Forss 0.41
Longman leads the way with 0.43, Eaves has 0.40.
