Am I being too anxious by being concerned about us staying up this season despite being 13 points clear? Barnsley have two games in hand over us and if they manage to close that, our last games are going to be nervous ones.

I won’t be relieved until it’s mathematically impossible for us to go down.
Yes you are being too anxious and if you could relieve yourself you might not feel as anxious...

Eaves was completely rattled by Colwill the lad he could’ve easily got sent off for on the first yellow. He is such a huge fanny. KLP held the ball up more times in his half up front. Cant really complain from the 10 others thought we were the better side until injury time in the 1st half. Wont be going down playing like that.

Unlucky to lose that one. Eaves foul was daft but didn’t deserve a 2nd yellow. Ingram had a fab game - deserved a clean sheet. I think we need to go back to the McCann system that got us 3 wins in a row.
That’s what we are playing.

3 centre backs Longman RWB Fleming LWB Smallwood with Doc/Slater Honeyman KLP off the striker Eaves. Unless you’re suggesting playing KLP wing back and dropping Fleming?

No we’re not. We’ve got KLP and Honeyman in false wingers thingy, which means George is less effective. Playing KLP and Longman as proper wingbacks meant they were often overstretched but seemed to work better to me.

So dropping Fleming then. Arguably our best player since Shota took over. KLP was causing them all sorts of problems in the first half linking up with Fleming unfortunately the brainless idiot who unfortunately is our best striker got sent off when we were well in the game against a top 6 opposition.

The decision to let Magennis leave and not bring in a target man replacement seems really silly.

Not necessarily. Keep him in (I agree one of the finds of the season) and push KLP up with Eaves. Shota’s system seems to work away, but need to try something else at home. IMHO.

Huddersfield and Luton are proof you don’t need to chuck big money at your squad to be successful. Their biggest assets are their managers.
