Problem is England could go out on a limb and withdraw from the WC now, but the competition would still continue without us. The time we should have made a stand was when this venue was announced ( 2010), we could have stated then that we didn't want to be included, and maybe other countries would have followed suit, maybe not. I'm not sure Southgate should be slagged off, it's the FA that have us in this competition, if Southgate / Kane / Sterling or any other squad member were to pull out, they would simply be replaced. Maybe by going to Quatar, then organising some visible protest ( possibly in tandem with other nations) it will get the message to a wider audience. I don't know the answer, and I hope the competition is a flop, but I will support the manager and team while they're there.
