He may be Irish but damn he is stooopid too. I know many Irish folk who would run rings round that dolt. It's so frightening that he was the best they could find to run up against Trump. Surely there must be someone better to run their country

Biden seems to be doing all right to me. Too old but he's wise, and a good guy. His Vice President is a young counterbalance and has got a nice smile. All you need to be a President, Ha!

Sorry Oz, I have a lot of friends and colleagues in the US, some are fiscal conservatives, others card carrying liberals. Even the middle of the road sensible Democrats who I think Biden is meant to represent think he’s a complete disaster, and possibly incapable, and that Harris is, if anything, even worse. It’s a disaster for the integrity of the US political system, battered after Trump and now opened up for him, or someone similar, next time.

The overall quality of leadership in the liberal democratic western parliamentary democracies and republics is chronically poor at the moment, a joy for Putin and Xi.

He's timid, has poor judgement and is a disaster. His record on foreign policy matters going back years is woeful. Biden is the man who said it was alright if Putin invaded just part of the Ukraine.

Don't know if anyone put it up on here but did anyone see Arnie's 9 minute message on twitter ? What a very clever man and deeply moving, hopefully tge Russian people get to see it before its blocked as his account was one of the few left open over there. I never knew his father was a Nazi stormtrooper, but it took some guts to come out and say that about him !

I see it is alleged that Gary Lineker’s favourite former Speaker and full-time bully claimed furlough payments for his own wife during lockdown. All right and proper, of course.
