Hi brother, Kevin, 'leaked' the team naively before the Italy game. Tiss still played in that game though (haven't read article may say same).

Was his brother Karl, but yes essentially that’s it. According to my mate Hoddle was livid and that’s why he didn’t select Le Tissier in the 98 squad, I was 6 at the time so can’t offer much insight personally

Tiss’s goals were a thing of beauty, but when running he wasn’t. Always looked like he was wearing wellies with the ball attached with glue. Never difficult to recognise him from a distance galumphing up the pitch leaving defenders in his wake who looked like extras in a really bad football movie. :) An honour to have watched him play.

I do have faith in Ralph putting out a strong team even if he does make changes. I think Spurs getting knocked out may persuade him to go strong. I reckon:

Willy
Tino Stephens Salisu Perraud
JWP Romeu
Redmond Djenepo
Broja/Che A. Armstrong
Spurs put out full strength / same as Leeds last nite, With that theory, Ralph might go all Coventry! <laugh>

Ah yeah. I remember being GUTTED when it looked like he'd be dropped for the game as a result.

In case people (in Britain?) want to watch tonight's game, it's being shown on the BBC Red Button with a programme start time of 19:20. On my TV it's channel 601, but that's no guarantee of it being the same on anyone else's TV. I also suspect that anyone outside of Britain will probably not be able to obtain this BBC programme, but I may be wrong.

Given that in my team of my life time Keegan, Davies and Channon are nailed on, with Shearer as a sub that means Le Tiss needs to play in midfield.. plus 2 or 3 to do his running.. just saying..

Channon is the first name on the sheet for me every time, but that might also be because his horses did me a few favours from time to time.
