Wasn't there an older woman Man City supporter who always had a bell? Or was that Colin Bell? <laugh>

Aaaaahhh....thank you. I've been wracking my brain trying to remember which other club had a fan with a bell.

I thought it might have been Arsenal, but then remembered that they had that woman on The North Bank who used to scream like she was being probed somewhere intimate by something very large indeed.

There was indeed. Her day job was selling daffodils outside Manchester Infirmary. She followed City for years and always rang her bell and was a damn sight more attractive than Mr Westwood Portsmouth.

Can't remember Dembele ever scoring with his head which is a surprise considering his height compared to Gazza , perhaps it was down to attitude and belief

As it always is. Son's 6' tall and Moura's 5'8". Which one of them would you bet on winning a header?

    That's ridiculous. Got a 3 game ban for what's normally a 2 game ban in Europe. Now he's got 5. <doh>

Mourinho was sent off during Roma's 2-2 draw with Verona on Saturday.
As he left, he said to the ref, "They sent you here on purpose..., Juve sent you".
Sounds a bit theatrical and overblown, right?

Well, it's probably worth mentioning that the ref was Luca Pairetto, son of Pierluigi Pairetto.
Who's that? The former Italian vice chairman of the UEFA referees committee.
So what? Well, he was caught having discussions with Juve, allowing them to pick their own refs.
You know, that whole Calciopoli scandal that resulted in various relegations.
Oh, and his brother works for Juventus.

The club that we signed him from, of course.
If he can hang around for about a week, then he'll get to knock City out of the FA Cup. <whistle>

Our former, rather short-lived, academy manager has been sacked by the Harry Kane team:

4 losses on the bounce and they haven't won since early December.
Edit: Their next opponents are Carlisle United, who have just sacked their manager, Keith Millen.

He hasn’t been given the opportunity to hang around as they’ve reappointed Grant McCann as their new boss.
