not that i agree with westy in this case but it's called nuance. If Russia crushes protests it's dictatorship and repression. If the UK crushes protests then it's protecting liberty and stopping unruly people
Again that’s your opinion Bobby……in your example a lot of Russians might say the protests are from a Neo Facist element who wants to disrupt and destroy the lives of innocent people.

yeah but it's all within context. I'm pretty sure for most if not all people when gadaffi/bin laden were "murdered" no one batted and eyelid compared to say captain moore or sean lock.
I'm sure there's been a few (Me definitely) where a case like this the guy who murdered sarah everard and below he should be tortured/given the death penalty/shot in front of his kids (this is a joke) whereas if you were to say the same to the queen or in this case julia hartley brewer it's not allowed

It's hard to make a joke about the murder of Sarah Everard. There will be some comedians that do, and I don't believe in censorship. But the fact is, try that on most monitored social media, and you're gone...

@Goldhawk-Road i was talking about hate speech without nuance. You are technically correct but it's far easier to accept hate speech at certain people and things will slide. I'm sure no one was calling out hate speech on the guy who killed sarah everard.

I feel sorry for the kids of someone like that, if he has them. They’re ****ed. Not saying he’s Hitler but I think I read that all of his extended family agreed to never have kids and just killed the bloodline or maybe some of them agreed that and others didn’t.
I'm not sure the in front of the kids part is the part that is the hate speech part. It may make it more distasteful but the pertinent part is being shot (or being killed/maimed/tortured). Again i'm pretty sure no one called out any of that stuff when it happened

You say you are an anarchist yet you join a non anarchy structure for work (paramedic), you support the cultural consumerism of a capitalist society and inadvertently support the tories by probably buying their products.
I wouldn't call you a hypocrite cause the above is true as unless you literally live in the middle of the amazon where tribes are protected, you cannot actually get away from this
anyway i believe in individualism and judging people on what they do. Generally speaking as long as it doesn't harm others then i'm fine with it (although you could argue how much does ideology, preaching) go to influence people positively/negatively

To correct you mate….I did consider myself an anarchist ‘cos I truly believed that through cooperation and understanding we as a society didn’t actually need a centralised government, and could self govern ourselves through a sort of ‘commune’ system.
However, and I stated it here ages back, I’ve now realised after the events in the USA, that could never happen due to mans inherent greed and the fact that bullies and despots will also climb to the top and subjugate the poor.
Im a vegetarian who has taken direct action in the Animal Rights cause…I drink milk and eat diary. That makes me a proper hypocrite
